Lutheran Congregations Working Together  

Since 1997 groups from the United States have traveled to Argentina and Uruguay under the auspices of Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry (LPGM) to establish relationships with partner congregations. LPGM has formed seven partner relationships so far between Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) affiliated churches and congregations of the Iglesia Evangelica Luterana Unida (IELU), the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Argentina and Uruguay. LPGM has an on going relationship with IELU.

• Share personal experiences with other Lutherans in Latin America
• Build cultural awareness through frequent contact.
